And in English..

Scandinavian Champinship, BMX and Swedish 4x cup

Couple weeks ago I race the last round of the swedish 4x cup at Gesundaberget. The track was in okay shape and really fast! In training everything felt well. During the time trails it started raining making the track really slippery and hard to ride. I Qualified first even though I made some mistakes here and there. I won the qualification rounds. In the final I was leading but unclipped twice and was dead last. I managed to make my way up to third which tourned out to be really good for me. I thought I already had the overall win secured before the race but apparently you have to count the last race so I won the overall with only 3 points. So it was good that I didn’t give up after my mistakes and just rode on.

This was the last MTB race for this season and I’m already looking forward to the next when I’m planning to do some World Cup races aswell.

In August the Scandinavian Championships were held in Sorö Denmark. The track was good aswell as the race organization. The only bad thing was the strong wind that kept blowing all weekend. I elite women we were 5 girls. A bit boring to be this few and it meant that I had to make 4 good races to win since we didn’t have a final. The best girl after the 4 races would become the new Scandinavian champion and that girl turned out to be me. I won all 4 races and took home the win! Next year 4 fast girls will take the step up in Elite so that will make for more competition. Min biggest rival, Amanda Sörensen, unfortunately didn’t attend the race. She was preparing for the Olympic Games in Beijing.
